Cruises from Seattle
Cruises from Seattle run May through September, and virtually all of them go one place: Alaska. Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, Princess, Holland America, Carnival and Celebrity sail 7 night Inside Passage round trips from Pier 66 and Pier 91, with fares of $549 to $2,500 per person depending on month and cabin.
Seven major lines across two terminals during Alaska season
$549 shoulder-season interiors to $2,500 peak-July balconies, per person for 7 nights
About $30 per day at Pier 91 and $35 near Pier 66, off-site shuttle lots from $20
May and September sail 30 to 45 percent cheaper than July with identical itineraries
Sailing from Pier 66 Bell Street Terminal and Pier 91 Smith Cove
Seattle is America's Alaska gateway. Every summer Saturday, up to four ships turn around here and head north through the Inside Passage on 7 night loops to Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan, with a glacier day at Glacier Bay, Endicott Arm or Hubbard depending on the line. The Victoria BC evening call on the way home satisfies the foreign-port requirement and adds a bonus city.
The pricing curve is the story: identical itineraries swing from $549 in May to $1,500+ in late July. If you can sail the shoulders, Seattle delivers the cheapest Alaska in the market, and our Alaska deals page tracks exactly those gaps.
Season: May through late September only.

Parking at the port
Official parking runs about $30 per day at Pier 91 and more at Pier 66 downtown. Off-site lots with shuttles start around $20. Seattle-area cruisers mostly get dropped off, and fly-in passengers should just rideshare: SEA airport to either pier is 25 to 40 minutes.
Where to stay the night before
Pier 66 is downtown at the foot of Bell Street, so any Belltown or waterfront hotel is walkable. Pier 91 sits north in Interbay, a 10 minute cab from Belltown. Book early: on summer Saturdays four ships can turn around at once and downtown hotels price accordingly.

A passport is recommended because every sailing stops in Victoria, Canada. Closed-loop rules technically allow a birth certificate plus photo ID for US citizens, but a passport removes all risk. See our passport guide.
