Parking at the port
Parking runs $17 to $25 per day depending on port. Port Canaveral and Jacksonville are cheapest with large surface lots, Miami and Port Everglades cost the most but have the best garage-to-gangway distances. Every Florida port has an independent shuttle-lot market that undercuts official rates by 30 to 50 percent.
Where to stay the night before
Fly-in cruisers should target the airport hotel clusters: MIA and FLL hotels sit 15 to 25 minutes from their respective ports, and dozens offer snooze, park and cruise packages. For Port Canaveral, Cocoa Beach hotels put you 10 minutes from the terminals and on the sand the night before.
